Pixie:  Our School Dog

I am the newest member of our Herne Family and come into school three times a week.

I am a friendly and fun Cavapoochon and I love to visit the children in their classes and see their learning. 

Sometimes I am on the gate welcoming everyone to school and I enjoy nothing more than a pat and a tummy rub.

The children take such pride in showing me their work and they love the reward of taking me for a walk.

I can see how their confidence and wellbeing has grown since I started school.  I have made so many friends.

I understand that not everyone is comfortable with dogs, so I stay on a short lead with an adult and there are special rules that the children and I follow to keep everyone safe.

I cannot wait to make some more friends in September.
