Types Of SEN

At Herne we are able to cater for a wide range of SEN and disabilities. Children are seen as individuals and once a need is identified the most appropriate intervention will be put into place. Progress is reviewed every six weeks and if the intervention has little or no impact then it will be reviewed and adapted as necessary.

Although some children come into school with a diagnosis or receive a diagnosis as needs are identified during the child’s time with us the most important aspect of provision is the strategies in place for individuals and their effectiveness.
