Our Incredible School!

It is with enormous pleasure that we share the fantastic news that our school has once again been graded ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted.

We are delighted that Ofsted recognised the exemplary teaching, learning and culture at Herne CE Infant and Nursery School.  The inspectors found no areas for development.  They talked animatedly about an atmosphere of, inspiration, curiosity and passion, improvement and enquiry.

During feedback discussions and team meetings the inspectors asked questions of each other such as ‘Would we send other schools here to see exemplary practice?’ and the answer was an emphatic ‘Absolutely!’

The report reads beautifully and shows how every member of our community has a pivotal and positive impact on our wonderful school.
