We were delighted to take part in the 'Seesighed' Exhibition at the Turner Contemporary Gallery in Margate. This exhibition runs from Friday 24th May to Sunday 23rd June 2019. Schools from the Coastal Alliance Cooperative trust (CACoT) submitted photos taken by children and their families depicting what it is like to grow up and live by the sea today. Inspiration was taken from The South East Archive of Seaside Photography (SEAS) examining how people lived and spent their holidays by the coast in the past and reimagining these to capture the seaside from new perspectives. Grace went to the exhibition with her family and found her photograph in the display. Her family said "We visited the Turner Gallery in the half term holiday and were very proud to see that one of the pictures we submitted had been selected and also that there was a great selection of pictures from Herne and other local schools on display - it was a fantastic exhibition of photography which truly celebrates living by the coast!"
